Terms of Service

Effective Date: 13.02.2026

1. Scope of Services

Max Window Cleaning LLC provides professional residential and commercial window cleaning services, including:

  • Interior and exterior window cleaning
  • Sliding glass door cleaning

Optional add-on services:

  • Screen cleaning
  • Track cleaning
  • Hard water stain removal
  • Adhesive / tape / glue removal
  • Post-construction cleaning

Service limits:

  • Exterior window cleaning is available up to the 2nd floor only.
  • Interior windows can be cleaned on any floor with safe indoor access.

2. Safety Policy

For safety reasons, Max Window Cleaning LLC:

  • Does not use tall ladders
  • Does not access roofs
  • Does not work on unstable or unsafe surfaces
  • May refuse service or stop work if conditions are unsafe

If your windows open inward or slide, we can often clean the exterior glass safely from inside.

3. Pricing

Pricing is based on:

  • Number and type of windows/doors
  • Selected add-on services
  • Building height
    • 1 story: no additional charge
    • 2 stories: +20%

All prices are shown before booking.
No hidden fees or additional taxes.

4. Access Requirements

The client agrees to:

  • Provide safe access to all windows included in the service
  • Remove fragile items from window sills
  • Secure pets
  • Ensure property access at the scheduled time

If access is not provided and the visit cannot be completed, a $50 trip fee may apply.

5. Clear Access & Care Policy (Client-Friendly)

We kindly ask clients to provide clear access to all windows before the appointment.
We do not move heavy furniture, electronics, blinds, or curtains.

This is not because we don’t want to help — it’s because we want to protect the items you love.
Blinds, décor, and furniture can be delicate, and we want to avoid any risk of damage.

If access to a window is blocked, we will skip it and return to it once the area is clear (if time allows).

Thank you for helping us keep your home and belongings safe.

6. Screens and Tracks

Screen cleaning and track cleaning are optional add-on services and are not included unless selected during booking or approved before service.

7. Hard Water Stains

Hard water stain removal is an optional add-on service.
Some stains may not be completely removable depending on severity and glass condition.

8. Outdoor Area / Yard Conditions

The client must ensure safe and clear access to exterior windows. Before the visit, please:

  • Remove outdoor furniture, grills, toys, and obstacles
  • Provide a clear walkway around the house
  • Unlock gates for backyard access
  • Remove items that may be damaged by water

Max Window Cleaning LLC is not responsible for items left in the work area.

If access is blocked, the company may:

  • Skip the affected windows, or
  • Charge a minimum $20 fee for moving items (if requested and feasible)

9. Rescheduling and Cancellation

  • Free rescheduling with 24+ hours notice
  • Same-day cancellation or no-show → $50 fee

10. Quality Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with the service, the issue must be reported within 24 hours.

A free touch-up visit will be scheduled if the issue is related to workmanship.

11. Liability

Max Window Cleaning LLC is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage
  • Cracks, scratches, or defects in glass
  • Fragile or damaged screens/tracks
  • Damage caused by unstable structures or unsafe conditions

The client must disclose known issues before service.

12. Payment & Deposit

Payment is completed in two steps:

12.1 Deposit — $50

A $50 deposit is required to confirm the booking. The deposit:

  • Applies toward the final total
  • Is refundable with 24+ hours notice
  • Is non-refundable for same-day cancellations or no-shows

12.2 Remaining Balance

The remaining balance is paid after service completion via:

  • Square Tap-to-Pay (client taps card to technician’s phone)
  • Credit/debit card
  • Cash
  • Zelle
  • Venmo

Square processes payments securely and does not store card data.

13. Weather Conditions

Services may be rescheduled due to:

  • Heavy rain
  • Strong winds
  • Unsafe working conditions

Light rain does not affect exterior window cleaning.

14. Additional Windows or Services

If the client requests additional windows, doors, screens, or services not included in the original booking, the price will be adjusted according to the current price list.

Additional services are performed only after the client confirms the updated total.

15. Agreement

By booking a service, submitting an intake form, or requesting an online quote, the client agrees to these Terms of Service.
